- General description
xConf (2025-2026) is a small package for Mathematica in which tools are provided to
formally compute Weyl rescalings, often called improperly conformal
transformations. It is developed by Cyril Pitrou and Guillaume Faye. It is based on the xAct distribution for efficient tensor
manipulations.
- Downloading and installing
You first need to download and install xAct.
Then you can download the tarball of xConf's last released version (currently 0.0.1).
See the installation notes in order to install it correctly in your local Mathematica distribution.
- Documentation
Once installed, some documentation is available in the
Documentation subfolder, and examples are found in the Examples subfolder. If you wish to have a glance at
the package, you can download the pdf dump of the documentation.
The details of the algorithm will be available in an arXiv
document. Please cite it if you use it.
