Population of Supermassive Black Hole Binaries

Population data files of merging MBH binaries. The first six catalogues are meant to be used for Model Selection (we follow the naming convention used by the first LISAPE taskforce). The last catalogue (HOR) is to be used for the Horizon estimation. The detailed description of the material included in this massive black hole binary population is available in the pdf file README.pdf. SE : model_SE_MCevents_ext.dat : Small seeds, Efficient spin evolution.Model VHM, coherent accretion (aligned spins), gas driven dynamics (for eccentricity evolution);

SC : model_SC_MCevents_ext.dat : Small seeds, Chaotic spin evolution. Model VHM, chaotic accretion (randomly oriented spins), star driven dynamics (for eccentricity evolution);

LE : model_LE_MCevents_ext.dat : Large seeds, Efficient spin evolution. Model BVR, coherent accretion(aligned spins), gas driven dynamics (for eccentricity evolution);

LC : model_LC_MCevents_ext.dat : Large seeds, Chaotic spin evolution. Model BVR, chaotic accretion (randomly oriented spins), star driven dynamics (for eccentricity evolution).

SEm : model_SE_MCevents_misal_ext.dat : Small seeds, Efficient spin evolution with a small misalignment. Model VHM, coherent accretion (almost aligned spins), gas driven dynamics (for eccentricity evolution);

LEm : model_LE_MCevents_misal_ext.dat : Large seeds, Efficient spin evolution with a small misalignment. Model BVR, coherent accretion(almost aligned spins), gas driven dynamics (for eccentricity evolution);

HOR: model_HOR_MCevents_ext.dat : an "average" model, constructed by summing up the distributions d3Ni/dMzdqdz (being Mz the total redshifted binary mass and q = M2/M1 < 1 the binary mass ratio) and dividing by four. This model should be used for the "horizon determination" of the gravitational wave detector.

HOR: model_HOR_MCevents_test_ext.dat : same file but just the first realization.
