Astronomer at the Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris

About me

In 2003, I joined the Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris as an assistant Astronomer. I was promoted to senior astronomer in 2014. My research interests, are, broadly, galaxy formation and evolution. In particular, my work tries to understand understand how structures formed in the Universe and what is the evolving relationship between dark and luminous matter. To answer these questions means measuring distances and masses for millions of galaxies, and over the years I've worked on a lot of different surveys: read about some of it on the links in these pages.

Here is recent version of my CV.

Current responsiblites:

  • Leading the optical processing for the VIS camera on the ESA/Euclid mission.
