Astronomer at the Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris

About me

Since 2003, I am an assistant astronomer at the Institut d'astrophysique de Paris. My research interests, are, broadly, galaxy formation and evolution. In particular, I am trying to understand how structures formed in the Universe and the evolving relationship between dark and luminous matter. To answer these questions means measuring distances for millions of galaxies, and over the years I've worked on a lot of different surveys: read about some of it on the links in these pages. That's a lot of pixels under the bridge...

Here is recent version of my CV.

Current responsiblites:

  • Managing the processing and data releases for the UltraVISTA survey;
  • Leading the optical processing for the VIS camera on the ESA/Euclid mission.
