SPIRou
SPIRou est un spectro-polarimètre infrarouge qui a débuté ses observations en 2018 au Télescope-Canada-France-Hawaii. Il vise notamment à rechercher et caractériser des planètes telluriques dans la zone habitable autour d'étoiles froides, et à étudier l'impact du champ magnétique sur la formation des étoiles et des planètes.

Ce projet est réalisé par des institutions situées en France, au Canada, aux États-Unis, au Brésil, au Portugal, en Suisse et à Taiwan. La contribution francilienne regroupe des chercheurs de huit laboratoires ; dirigée par l'IAP, elle est soutenue par le DIM-ACAV et la Région Île-de-France.
