All the configuration files can be found in the sub-directory register of the distribution
process_config:
in this file you need to specify the location of the images, the reference
image and the directory of your installation.
default_config:
this is the configuration file for the image subtraction software.
phot_config: the configuration file for the photometry of the subtracted images.
Taking the correct
set of parameters is important, however most of the default parameters
provided in the distribution are quite general, and only a few parameters
are really important. The most important parameters are:
For image subtraction:
nstamps_x,nstamps_y,sub_x,sub_y,half_mesh_size,half_stamp_size,deg_bg,saturation,deg_spatial
For photometry:
saturation,radphot,rad_aper,psf_width,rad1_bg,rad2_bg
If you are unsure about the setting of the parameters for image subtraction and photometry, try to read the next chapters, and work only on the process_config file.
